I’m Jesse Mwangi Gichangi, a digital marketing strategist, web development specialist, and founder of Aquila Infotech. For me, technology has always been more than lines of code or marketing dashboards—it’s a tool for building connections, telling stories, and creating opportunities. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and deep expertise in WordPress—a platform I’ve been using since 2016—I’ve designed and developed websites that don’t just look beautiful, but also work hard behind the scenes to bring in leads, sales, and loyal customers. My approach blends creative design, strategic marketing, and data-driven insights so that every project delivers measurable results.

When I started Aquila Infotech, my vision was clear: to give businesses the digital tools and strategies they need to compete and win in an increasingly online world. Today, we design high-performance websites, run targeted ad campaigns, craft engaging content strategies, and help brands manage their online reputation. Giving Back Through the WordPress Community

While running a business keeps me busy, I’ve always believed in giving back to the tech community that shaped my career. I’m a volunteer organizer for WordPress Nairobi, where I help plan meetups, share knowledge, and mentor upcoming developers and digital marketers.

In 2025, I’m serving as the Students Linkages and Volunteers Lead for WordCamp Nairobi 2025. This role is incredibly close to my heart. I get to connect students with the WordPress ecosystem, introduce them to industry experts, and help them gain the skills and exposure they need to start their careers. I also oversee volunteer coordination, making sure the event runs smoothly and everyone—from speakers to attendees—feels part of something bigger.

These community roles are more than titles—they’re opportunities to help others grow, just as others once helped me.
